That Fiery Male Ram

This post is dedicted to a man I've always admired and includes excerpts from the book Sextrology.

Ah, that Aries male. A fiery man, indeed. Our male ram is a gentleman, a leader, a man's man, and a force to be reckoned with.

The Aries is the only cardinal (initiator, starter) fire (strength, force, energy) sign in the zodiac. He loves to start things, usually big things, being the only initiator sign in the bunch. He'll approach life with passion, vigor, and loads of that signature ram determination. He's the first male sign in the zodiac. The "Adam" if you will.

Ladies, if you've suffered many a painful relationship with bad boy types, our charming, dashing, handsome Arian male may be just the one for you. Loyal like no other. Underhandedness will not occur with the male ram. He's a man's man - and a man of his word. And once he's in love, he will care for you, protect you, and provide for you like no other man on this earth.

Be forwarned, however, that our Aries male will truly consider you "his." He can exhibit jealous tendencies and a somewhat controlling disposition. Our fiery ram truly does care about where you are, who you are with, and what you are doing.

But don't let him find you boreing, or he'll be the first one to head for greener pastures. Not secretly, though. He will let you know exactly what he's intending on doing. But always keep some tricks up your sleeve to keep your male ram at your side.

Sometimes forever boyish, or painfully macho, just as Taurus represents the exploration of femininity, Aries represents the exploration of masculinity. Self assured, unapologetic at times, and fearless. Our male ram lives life as if it's his for the taking. Sextrology considers the Arian male "The One". . .the only one - on the planet. Failure is not a word in our ram's dictionary.

He possesses a sense of entitlement and thrives on the pursuit of his professional goals. Clean cut in appearance and forthright, our Arian male considers himself a knight in shining armour. Ruled by the planet Mars, The God of War, which represents masculinity. His planetary symbol is The Spear and Shield of Mars. Mars rules the blood, the fiery substance that permits our existence.

His sign quadrant is The First Quadrant, which represents self and individual awareness. Fittingly, his number is 1, the number of life itself which represents unity and wholeness. His age range represents 0-7, thus explaining a bit of that male rams childishness and impulsiveness. You will especially see this side of the male ram when he isn't getting his way.

The fiery ram exists to "get the job done." His role is very clear to him. Masculine, driven, aggressive and impulsive, sometimes unemotional and brutish, he's a true gentleman at heart. Failure is not a word in the Arian ram's dictionary. He's the purification of the primal male, but at times, has difficulty viewing life through anyone's eyes but his own. He may feel that what he wants, is what the whole world wants.

Being ruled by the planet Mars, The God of War, our fiery ram can, indeed, be a force to be reckoned with. His goals are clear and his determination is unmatched. His signs symbol, the ram's horns, represent the ego. He possesss the ability to assert his determination and is unapologetic when doing so.

He is the personification of the rising sun. He may be a blustery, bolstering type, who enjoys his success and will, most likely, let you know he's successful. And why shouldn't he? He's worked very, very hard to get where he is in life. More so than any other sign, the Aries ram is committed to his personal success and will go to great lengths to achieve it. Even so far, at times, as to put career above family.

He is not to be faulted for this. He feels it's his purpose here on earth. He is a provider, a leader, and usually, a very successful one at that. He rarely feels impressed by others, nor is he intimidated by them. Aries takes on the survival of the fittest, a "me first" attitude. He attacks life wholeheartedly and takes from it what he wishes. He, indeed, possess a sense of entitlement.

The Aries male mind is always racing. He's generally the one doing all the talking. Should someone else take center stage, he'll be the guy looking around the room, checking his watch, and generally seeming uninterested. He's keeping himself occupied while pretending to be listening. You see, he's thinking of the next big thing he's going to say. Waiting for the spotlight to shine on him once again.

Sextrology provides this example: Marlon Brando. A signature Arian male. He related to other actors like this. . ."they say, blah, blah, blah - then it's my line - then they say, blah, blah, blah - then it's my line again."

In love and relationships, they may not be viewed as the most sensative of men as they lack any connection to femininity, being ruled by Mars, which represent masculinity in it's purest form. Aries achieves his goal of appearing manly, but not overly brutish. And in love, he hopes to win a woman who is as committed to her femininity as he is to his masculinity.

Underneath that determined male ram's exterior lies a volcano of male force. A beastly, primal sexuality, if you will. He may search high and low for his "Eve," but make no mistake, once he's located her, that fiery aggression springs into action. Then, in signature ram fashion, he'll put his head down, horns out, and charge straight for the object of his desire. And he will assume he will have her. It's his birthright to have what he wants. That Arian sense of entitlement kicks in.

You see, our Arian male loves nothing more than a challenge. He has a conquerer's mentality. Bickering, heated debates, and communication conflicts may abound. But never fear! This is the stuff our male ram lives for! A good heated debate can be like foreplay for the Arian male. Gets him all fired up, feeling alive. Ignites that Arian call to arms - the challenge factor.

"and Zeus wept when their were no worlds left to conquer. . ."

Most times, the one the male ram will be attracted to, is the one that may want nothing to do with him. She presents a delicious challenge to our Arian male. If your a female that's too "available" to him, your no longer a challenge. He won't be interested. On the flip side, if your fiesty and fiery with him, you'll soon be the object of his primal desire, forever igniting that Arian to conquer.

Our male ram is attracted to the fire in life. Big cities, bright lights, glitz, glamour, and places where people of status mix, mingle and network. He'll drive expensive cars, have a beautiful home, and generally give the impression "he's arrived." Status can be important to an Aries. Yes, they can be a bit egotistical, but honestly, they aren't. It's just that he's worked hard. He feels entitled to show it, to live it, to it's fullest extent.

In love, our fiery male ram needs a woman who also represents these qualities. He's attracted to very feminine women, who can look the part. They must represent his "trophy" in life for all of his hard earned success. She's his ultimate reward for it, you see. She must be a lady, look and carry herself like a lady, and personify his success through her intense good looks and proper public behavior. However, in the bedroom, he'll expect her to be quite improper, if you know what I mean. Nevertheless, you won't see an Arian man with a "little house on the prairie" type woman on his arm.

The male Arian view of men and women in general is this: woman and beast. The whole of his sexuality is akin to the pursuit of his passion. Just like the ram, who will head-butt every rival for a mate, the Arian male possesses the primal need to woo and win, as a prize, his female. His woman must fulfill the the ideal requirments. He will demand worship from her. To our Arian male, it would be a crime to settle for anything less than he deserves.

In bed, our Arian male is quick, hot and intense. But don't be dismayed by the quickness for which he completes his self-gratification. Just like the ram, he'll be ready to charge again, and again, and again, to prove himself and leave his lover breathless and exhausted, if not a tad sore. Aggression is the male Arian. Rough and tumble may be his forte. Because after all, as stated previously, our male ram exists "to get the job done." And to do it better than any other man on the planet.

He's an atletic lover with an urge for domination. Fast and furious. He taps into a place that is devoid of all the bells and whistles that place many other people in their "heads" in the bedroom. He's a straightforward animal. This is one place where Aries male cannot tame that savage beast within him.

Aries does eventually score his Aphrodite goddess, the eternal virgin and erotic vixen. He posesses a valor like no other. His conquering spirit, his masculinity, his dashing gentlemanly good looks - honestly, who could refuse?

The Arian male views life as a wellspring, the cup of life: from which he drinks freely, unapologetically, and often.
